Frequently Asked Questions
We receive lots of questions about our church. Here are some of the most commonly asked questions.
Do you have Sunday School classes?
Yes, we do offer one Adult Sunday School class at 9:30 AM on Sunday mornings.
What time is your Sunday worship service?
We have one worship service the begins at 10:30 AM each Sunday.
What do you offer for children and teens?
Nursery care is provided for children (birth through age 3) during our worship service each week. Children can be checked in at our welcome center so that they can receive a security sticker. Nursery aged children can be dropped off upon arrival.
Children (4 years old – 5th grade) can attend children’s church during the sermon. They will be dismissed from the sanctuary just before the sermon begins for those parents who desire it. They should be checked in upon arrival at the welcome center for a security sticker. They will sit with their parents until dismissed.
Do you have to dress up to attend your worship service?
No! Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at NWBC. Some do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to find others in slacks and a casual shirt, or even shorts and jeans. We believe the most important part is showing up, being with God’s people, and being ready to worship God. We believe the only standard to how we dress should be one of modesty.
What kind of things do you do in your worship service?
A typical worship service looks like this:
