Frequently Asked Questions

We are a church that began by the will and grace of God in 1997. We are a people from many walks of life, but know that we are all one in Jesus Christ through His gospel. We are a family that loves one another and serves our Savior together. We are a church that believes in the authority, infallibility, inerrancy, and sufficiency of Scripture.
We are an independent Reformed Baptist Church.
We receive lots of questions about our church. Here are some of the most commonly asked questions.
Do you have Sunday School classes?
Yes, our elders teach classes on Sunday Mornings. Here is a link to the current small groups
What time is your Sunday worship service?
We have one worship service the begins at 10:30 AM each Sunday.
What do you offer for children during the service?
Children are a blessing from the Lord and we welcome all children to worship with their families during service. We believe that worship should be family integrated with parents leading the way in their children’s discipleship.
Our nursery space now functions as an unstaffed “cry room”, available for parents to use during the worship service. This room is intended to provide a quiet, comfortable place for parents to care for their little ones if they become restless or need attention during the service. It is not intended to be an alternative but used when necessary. Children must be supervised at all times. A live feed of the worship service can be watched in the nursery.
Do you have to dress up to attend your worship service?
No! Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at NWBC. Some do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to find others in slacks and a casual shirt, or even shorts and jeans. We believe the most important part is showing up, being with God’s people, and being ready to worship God. We believe the only standard to how we dress should be one of modesty.
What kind of things do you do in your worship service?
A typical worship service looks like this:
