CHILDREN

Training up children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord is something we cherish.

We believe that children are an essential part of the church body and should worship alongside their parents. As they grow in understanding, children benefit from observing and participating in the life of the gathered church. Scripture consistently portrays families worshiping together—from the Old Testament assemblies (Deut. 31:12–13) to the New Testament letters where children are directly addressed (Eph. 6:1–3; Col. 3:20). We seek to train our children from an early age to know, love, and fear the Lord, and we see corporate worship as a vital part of that formation.

expositional preaching

Expositional Preaching

We preach through whole books of the Bible verse by verse. We are committed to the whole Bible, in context, for the work God has intended in order to save sinners and also to grow His people. David Helm defines expository preaching as, “empowered preaching that rightfully submits the shape and emphasis of the sermon to the shape and emphasis of a biblical text.”

regulative principle of worship

Regulative Principle of Worship

Our worship services are regulated by the Word of God. This means that we only do what God has commanded and ordained for His people. So we preach the Word, read the Word corporately, pray the Word, sing the Word, and see the Word through the ordinances. We value the ordinary means of grace as the way God grows His people (the Word, the ordinances, and prayer.)

doctrinally rich music

Doctrinally Rich Music

The songs that we sing matters. Therefore, it is our priority that all songs used are rich in doctrine and truth. The songs we sing must be God-centered and not man-centered. Therefore, we will sing both old and modern hymns/songs that are rich in these ways. We want to place a higher priority on the substance of a song rather than the style of a song.

reformed baptist teaching

Reformed Baptist Teaching

We are a Reformed Baptist Church that ascribes to the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith. Our preaching centers on the supremacy of Jesus Christ above all things, the centrality and the power of the Gospel to save sinners, the doctrines of grace, and the sovereignty, and glory of God. TUESDAY EVENINGS 6 PM – 7:30 PM

nursery available

Our nursery space now functions as an unstaffed “cry room”, available for parents to use during the worship service. This room is intended to provide a quiet, comfortable place for parents to care for their little ones if they become restless or need attention during the service. It is not intended to be an alternative but used when necessary. Children must be supervised at all times. A live feed of the worship service can be watched in the nursery.
